Mireya Reith is the Founding Executive Director of Arkansas United, a nonprofit based in Springdale that is dedicated to empowering immigrants and their communities through immigrant rights advocacy and closing service gaps.
TERESA CHAVEZ-LOMELI
Managing Director
Teresa is serving as Arkansas United’s Managing Director on Arkansas United’s Leadership Team. Originally from Mexico, Teresa emigrated to the United States where she continued her successful career in Supply Chain.

Operations Director
Irma Chavez, was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, moved to Los Angeles, CA at 18 years old, first job was babysitting and housekeeping with great pride, then worked in a restaurant for many years.
ayme villanueva
Membership Director
Ayme Villanueva is from Honduras and has lived in the United States with her family since August 2010. In Honduras she is a Doctor in Pharmacy.

Northwest Arkansas Program Director
I was born in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. My passion for learning and helping the community came from my father Dr. Wilmer Garcia Silva, a doctor and university professor.
Rosa velázquez
Lead Advocate
Ms. Velázquez has been actively organizing and advocating for immigrant’s rights since the Federal DREAM Act Campaign in 2010. Since its failure in Congress, she became involved with the youth lead organization United We Dream…
